The sin in the garden is not Eve eating an apple, but a far more serious offense.
Most churches are so into their own doctrines and traditions, they void the word of God as it is written.
Christ states in Revelation 2 & 3, He is only pleased with two types of churches (out of seven) in our time. In other words, He is not pleased with the majority of them.
Why ? Because instead of "Thus saith the Lord", they teach "Thus saith my pastor".
When something doesn't make sense, investigate ; God always makes sense.
LET'S GO TO THE WORD.
Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, "Yea hath God said, 'Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?"
THE SERPENT = UPRIGHT ONE, SHINING ONE. NACHASH IN THE HEBREW.
IT'S SYMBOLIC OF SATAN.
MORE SUBTIL THAN ANY BEAST = WISER THAN ANY HUMAN (FROM THE WAYS OF THE WORLD).
THE TREE OF LIFE = SYMBOLIC OF CHRIST.
THE TREE OF GOOD AND EVIL = SATAN.
GOD USES SYMBOLS, FIGURES OF SPEECH, HEBRAISMS, ANALOGIES, AGRICULTURE, AND NATURE, TO BRING FORTH HIS MESSAGE.
3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, "We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden :
3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, 'Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.' "
SHALL YE TOUCH IT = NAGA IN THE HEBREW = LAY WTH A WOMAN (STRONG'S CONCORDANCE # 5060).
THE TREE = THE CLOSING AND OPENING OF THE EYES (PRIME #6086 IN STRONG'S CONCORDANCE), AND ALSO ATISH, THE BACK BONE OF THE BODY (#6096 IN THE STRONG'S).
WE ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT EATING A FRUIT HERE, BUT SEXUAL RELATIONS WITH A CERTAIN ENTITY.
3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, "Ye shall not surely die :
3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil."
3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her ; and he did eat.
SATAN IS FULL OF BEAUTY AND INTELLIGENCE (EZEKIEL 28).
HE IS ALSO SUPERNATURAL AND CAN TAKE MANY FORMS. THEREFORE, HE MIGHT APPEARED TO ADAM AS A DESIRABLE WOMAN.
3:7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked ; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.
THEY SEWED FIG LEAVES...APRONS = TO GIRD THEMSELVES, IN THE HEBREW.
FIG LEAVES STAND FOR THAT THAT IS HIDDEN.
PAUL ADDRESSES THIS, IN II CORINTHIANS 11:3.
II Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
BEGUILED = HOLY SEDUCED IN THE GREEK (#1818 IN THE GREEK DICTIONARY OF THE STRONG'S).
THE DEVIL OUTSMARTED HER AND SEDUCED HER.
NOTE : ALWAYS USE THE TOOLS (SUCH AS THE STRONG'S CONGORDANCE, AND SMITH'S BIBLE DICTIONARY) THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO BRAKE DOWN THE LANGUAGES. WHY ? BECAUSE THE ENGLISH HAS MANY ERRORS.
SATAN IS VERY INTELLIGENT, AND HE USES THE CHURCH TO DECEIVE PEOPLE. HE TWISTED SCRIPTURE TO TRY TO DECEIVE CHRIST (MATTHEW 4), AND HE WILL DO THE SAME TO YOU, IF YOU ARE NOT FAMILIAR WITH GOD'S WORD.
YOU SEE, HE KNOWS SCRIPTURE BETTER THAN ANYONE, AND HE KNOWS HOW TO CHANGE IT ONLY A LITTLE BIT TO DECEIVE YOU.
BE WISER THAN THE SERPENT.
