We hear about so-called Psychics, or Mediums, who claim that speak to the dead. Social media is full of these individuals ; they attract a lot of vulnerable people, that think they can communicate with loved ones who have passed on.
It's one of Satan's tools to deceive people.
First of all, most of them are fake ; second, the ones that actually see spirits are the ones who are deceived by them. These spirits are evil and can take many forms ; they can even look like a loved one who have passed on.
God does not allow anyone to walk the earth (after they pass) and cannot find the light.
"TO BE ABSENT FROM THE BODY IS TO BE PRESENT WITH THE LORD"
(II COR. 5:8).
Ecclesiastes 12:3 In the day when the keepers of the house (body) shall tremble, and the strong men shall bow themselves, and the grinders (teeth) cease because they are few, and those that look out of the windows (eyelids) be darkened.
12:4 And the doors (the openings of the mouth and ears) shall be shut in the streets (singular), when the sound of the grinding is low (the mastication with gums instead of teeth is low), and he shall rise up at the voice of the bird (insomnia), and all the daughters of music shall be brought low ( loss of hearing) ;
12:5 Also when they shall be afraid of that which is high, and fears (apprehensions, afraid of heights) shall be in the way, and the almond tree shall flourish (grey hair shall grow scanty, or fall), and the grasshopper shall be a burden (as to weight), and desire (sexual desire) shall fail : (because man goeth to his long home (heaven), and the mourners go about the streets :)
THE MAN GOES TO HIS LONG HOME (HEAVEN). HE DOESN'T STAY HERE ON EARTH.
12:6 Or ever the silver cord (the spinal cord) be loosed, or the golden bowl (the skull) be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain (the failure of the heart), or the wheel broken at the cistern ( on which the bucket is brought up by a rope from the well).
12:7 Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was : and the spirit shall return unto God Who gave it.
IN OTHER WORDS, WHEN YOU DIE, THE FLESH GOES TO THE GROUND AND THE SPIRIT RETURNS BACK TO THE FATHER.
In the book of Samuel 28, Saul was stripped of his duties as a king (David became the new king, and Saul was very jealous of him), because he liked people that talked to the dead (I Samuel 28:3-25) ; a serious sin against God.
Samuel was a prophet and greatly loved by Saul. When he passed away, Saul was in great distress. The Lord wouldn't speak to him, and the Philistines were closing in on him. Therefore, he thought, if God won't speak to me, I'll go to a medium, and she will contact Samuel to tell me what to do.
The medium (she was called the witch of Ender) contacted a spirit that looked and talked like Samuel, but it wasn't.
Saul thought the spirit was Samuel.
The spirit said to Saul, "if God won't speak to you what it makes you think I am"? (28:15-16).
He continued and said, 'Because you didn't obey the voice of the Lord, your kingdom is stripped from you and given to David. Moreover, you will die by the hands of the Philistines'. (I Samuel 28:17-19).
WHY THESE SPIRITS KNOW SO MUCH ABOUT A FAMILY MEMBER OR A FRIEND ? BECAUSE THE EVIL SPIRIT KNOWS ABOUT THE FAMILY ; THESE ARE SUPERNATURAL ENTITIES THAT KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT YOU.
THEY DISGUISE THEMSELVES AS SOMETHING GOOD.
IF YOU HAVE AN EVIL SPIRIT IN YOUR HOME, ANOINT YOUR HOUSE WITH OLIVE OIL (SYMBOLIC OF GOD = EL -YIA), AND ORDER IT (NOT ASK) OUT IN THE NAME OF JESUS. THEN ASK GOD TO BUILD A WALL SO ANYONE THAT MIGHT COME INTO YOUR HOME WON'T BRING ANOTHER ONE (IT'S A WALL FOR PROTECTION). THIS IS THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET RID OF THEM.
STAY AWAY FROM INDIVIDUALS THAT TALK TO THE DEAD. IF GOD WANTS TO BRING A LOVED ONE BACK TO COMFORT YOU HE CAN DO IT HIMSELF ; HE DOESN'T NEED HELP.
NOTE : Paranormal investigators do not know about these spirits ; they will tell you that some are good spirits who are stuck here. It's not true because God says different. They cannot order these entities out. Why ? Because, first you have to have faith in Christ, second, you have to know what you are dealing with.
It's very dangerous to seek people like that. If you don't want turmoil in your home STAY AWAY FROM THEM.
